First Birthday Party of the year!

THE YOUNG WOMEN’S CENTRE had their first Birthday Party of the year! Being close to Easter, Maria from City Life Church arranged an Easter themed party with different flavoured Hot Cross Buns for the young women to try. One young woman had never tried hot cross buns and concluded that they were, “Excellent”. After eating and sharing stories and birthday cake and presents with the young women whose birthdays it had been, there was an Easter egg hunt throughout the centre. This sent the young women into fits of giggles as they ran around trying to find the hidden eggs. The party ended with chocolate hangovers and big smiles. Thanks to CityLife for making this possible! it is an invaluable experience for the young women we get to journey with, bringing joy and healing.
